Howdy eeveryone, recently i was hired at disneyland as a seasonal banquet server with my goal ultimately getting into one of the restaurants at the hotels or one of the parks. While i was at my interview the lady interviewing me said i could cross train into one of the hotel restaurants or transfer to one in the park if an opportunity popped up. While i was there i actually had an interview for busser as well at club 33 but didnt ultimately get that job which was a bummer!
So my few questions are:
How long does it take?
What's the best restaurant to work at?
If anyone has been a banquet server before how much did you make?

Not sure CMs are allowed to talk about actual job conditions/pay on a public forum.

I was a CM at WDW, so not sure if it is the same at DLR, but to become a fulltime server there is a waitlist. These are the kind of jobs CMs do not give up, the tips are insane at some restaurants. I was a seater, and a busser (OT and holidays) at one of the deluxe resort restaurants. While there were a couple of PT servers, most were FT and had been CMs for years. The PT were both on the waitlist but the time I knew them they never went FT.

Thanks for the replies, I wasn't sure if cm's were able to either I was just searching the Internet and found a thread about from a few years back, so I was just looking to get some info. If anyone knows a good thread or somewhere I could find that info that would be great too!
