Does anyone know if all of the 5th floor concierge rooms have full balconies? Also, for concierge checkin do you go to the desk or do they have curbside. Last question, the lagoon view rooms from the 5th floor...how are the views? Thanks!

Minnie - I am not positive, but I do not think that all 5th floor concierge rooms have full balconies.

For concierge check-in you do not go to the Front desk or curbside. When you arrive at the resort, you tell the doorman or bellcaptain that you are a concierge guest. The concierge staff from IPO (Itinerary Planning Office) should send you in the mail, a plastic card that you use in the elevator to go directly to the 5th floor. You actually check-in with the 5th floor concierge staff.

Not sure about the views. As you see from my counter, we are only going for our first Disney trip this August. But since we are going concierge, I have been working with the awesome IPO staff, and I have learned quite a bit.

Wow 4 tags! The tag fairy must really like you.

When my DW and I stayed there, we had a std. view room on the 5th floor. We had a balcony but it seemed a bit small (maybe narrow) to me. I think it was considered a full balcony -- we had 2 chairs and a table on it.

We checked in at the front desk, but we didn't know we were staying on the 5th floor. We were upgraded to concierge before our arrival, but we didn't pay for it. We never did find out why this happened either!

When we stayed on the concierge floor at WL, we mentioned this to the front desk and one of the staff came downstairs and took us up to the 7th floor. I imagine the BC could do the same thing and you could check-in at the concierge desk.

Wish I could help with the lagoon view question. I've read a few posts from people indicating some views were not so great because of the trees and foilage. BC does have a lot of trees all around it. Hopefully, you will get a great room with a fantastic view!!

We stayed at the BC Concierge - just this past Dec. We had a corner room (waterview) king bed on the 5th floor. We checked in at counter b/c we transferred from BCVillas.

Because of the corner location of the room- our balcony was triple the size of all the other balconies we saw.. IT WAS GREAT!!
We were directly above SAB and could see the Boardwalk perfectly. It was not noisy at all- we really enjoyed sitting out on balcony at night and watching lots of folks walk back from EPCOT and such...
It was one of the best room locations I've had- besides the YC Concierge room.
One more detail : I do remember that our BC concierge room was on the other end of the floor of the lounge area but the small walk was nothing. I'm sorry that I don't remember room number, but it was great! :)

We had a standard concierge view last fall and basically a view of a roof from our room. We were slightly dissapointed in the concierge stay at BCV but loved the location in reguards to the Food and Wine Festival and the CM helped out quite a bit in reguards to P.S. and other special needs. The room was really no better than a standard room. The concierge areas itself is a little on the small side and we found it jammed everyday at Breakfast and before dinner. I guess some people use the facilities as a substitution for eating meals. The food selection was pretty decent. We are staying there again in Oct after not being able to book the BCV. Oh yea the BC has one of the best Cast Members in the World:
