I booked a reservation for BOG for December over the phone. We were trying to do it online but were unable to get it to work so I called. When my husband was trying online, he asked me which room I want to be in. I have also seen it mentioned on the boards about specific rooms. I look at my reservation but I see no mention of any room. How does that work? (I have my confirmation number, and the reservation shows up in MDE)

There are 3 rooms (West Wing, Grand Ballroom, Rose Gallery) but you don't get to pick which one you'd like to dine in for dinner service. You'll be seated in whichever room has an open table for your party size. During lunch hours you do have the option of choosing a room as you seat yourselves.

At dinner when you check in at the podium you can ask for a specific room, but there's no guarantee that you will get it. It's only a request so it depends on how busy it is, the size of your party, and whether they are accepting requests or seating everyone at the next available table for your group size. The most popular request is the West Wing but it is much smaller than the ballroom The Rose Gallery is often not open during dinner.

At lunch you can usually choose your own room/table.
