Question about Be Our Guest Breakfast Reservation

So I have a quick question - We have a breakfast reservation for Be our guest at 8:30 am - I booked this primarily because the last time we went to Disney 4 years ago we had breakfast there and loved it! Plus we got out before rope drop so we got in line for 7DMT early. Now here's my question, when we ate there 4 years ago we were on the dining plan, so I didnt realize at the time it cost $28 a person! This time we are not on the dining plan, so i'm wondering if we have a reservation for 4 people, do all 4 of us have to order? Or can my wife and I each order and our kids eat off the pastry plate that comes wtih the meal?

Thanks

Yes, you can share. If you both order it will be plenty of food for all. My husband and I shared one meal and no one batted an eye. Then we rode 7DMT three times in a row.

Our party of two adults and a 5 year old ordered one adult plate and one kids plate and had plenty to eat

It is QS for breakfast so you can order only what you want to pay for. Keep in mind they give you a pastry plate automatically---several people will bring ziplock bags to put leftovers in to have for later. You can mobile order in advance for this too, if you are looking to save time when you get there to eat and then dash over to the rides when they open. I have heard rumors that on the days that they have the extra fantasyland package deal that you aren't able to get over there early to 7DMT easily though. Perhaps someone else can comment with their experience on that specifically.

Is the breakfast platter that large to where 2 adults can share? We aren't big eaters but the sounds of it didn't sound like a whole lot of food (even though I know it costs $28). Anyone have a photo? Thanks :goodvibes

Not sure what you mean by “the breakfast platter”. There are different breakfast entree choices on the menu. They all come with an additional tray of small pastries to share. There is plenty on the pastry tray for two to share. I think if you just order one meal to share you will be fine.

My mistake, I meant the Feast á la Gaston. ;) Thank you!

For us, whether we could share would depend on when lunch was. If it was at 11 or 12, maybe. Then again, our kids were 9, 12, and 15 on our last trip and all eating adult-sized meals, so that's what my brain defaults to for portion sizes. If your kids are much younger, it's a different story.

We shared (4 people) breakfast at BOG, the entrees are not very big but you do get the pastry tray with the entree order. It worked for us but it's not a big breakfast plate at all. Plus we got the cupcakes too so we filled up on sweets.
