Has anyone had a non-park hopper ticket and tried to go into two parks in the same day. Would they say no or would it just take off another day? It seems like they should let you use another day if you want to but I am wondering if anyone has actually tried it.
Also I read that to upgrade to a ticket that doesn't expire it costs $55, but on the Disney site to upgrade on a 10 day ticket it is almost $150. Is this a problem with the site or if this really true?

No you can't use 2 days of your ticket in one day. The computer would know that you already visited a park that day and not allow admission unless you had a hopper pass.

The cost of non-expiration varies with the number of days originally on the pass, ranging from a low of $11. for a two day pass to $65. for a 7 day pass to $138. for a 10 day pass.

Generally non-expiration is worthwhile only (1) if you have to unexpectedly cut your vacation short or (2) if the remains of one or two tickets will completely cover some future vacation. Usually it is not worthwhile to preserve just the 8'th, 9'th and 10'th days or only the 7'th day.
