Question about banking points

If we decide to use points to cruise in May 2011 how many years can I bank and borrow from. We just bought in February of 2009 so could I do the following

Feb 2009 points - use
Feb 2010 points - Bank for cruise
Feb 2011 points - use for cruise
Feb 2012 points - Borrow for cruise

Assuming your cruise falls between 2/1/2011 and 1/31/2012 and that you have a February use year, you can do what you propose.
