Question about BANKED POINTS

I forget the answer... Maybe someone could help me

I have banked points due to expire January 31st. I KNOW i can put them into RCI and get another 2 years out of them.

But can I put them into a cruise...with a sail date after the January 31st expiration date????

Insight would be helpful. We are at a crossroads of not knowing what to do and our banking deadline (for other points) is Sept. 30th!!

How many banked points are you talking about? If it's just a few, you would have to add to them to put them into RCI. Is it enought points to make a reservation with, or just a few? If it's enough for a reservation and you aren't planning to travel, could you rent or transfer them?

My personal little rule of thumb is to remember that I always have to use at least as many points as I bank each year. That way it all comes out even in the end.

We have been members since 2000 - I have never lost points. I have 135 points with a deadline. We always run a year behind so we have to go on vacation and we always have extra points on hand so we never have to borrow - it works real well!!

With 135, you will need to add a few if you want to deposit in RCI. I think the minumum is 160 there, but I could be wrong.
