question about banked points

We are looking to purchase a contract (right now we're waiting for the sellers to return their documents!!) that has 55 points banked from Dec 2005. Does this mean that those points have to be used by Dec 2006?
It wouldn't be a problem, but I was just curious

No,
Not if I understand the situation correctly.

If the points were recieved at the beginning of December 2005, they would expire at the end of November 2006.
However, if they were banked in time, they go into the next use year, making them available until the end of November 2007.

It sounds like you're saying they had some 2005 points that they banked into 2006. If so, those points are good for a vacation between 12/1/2006 and 11/30/2007. They cannot be banked again, so must be used within this timeframe.

If they are 2004 points that were banked into 2005, then they will expire on 11/30/2006. (For a December UY, 2005 goes from 12/1/2005 through 11/30/2006).
