Question about Bailey's, Grand Marnier, etc...

Throw in some Bailey's when making whipped cream next time...Yummy!

Creamy Kiss
Ingredients
25 ml of Baileys®
12.5ml of Archers®
12.5ml of Amaretto

Method
Mix all the ingredients together in a cocktail shaker over loads of ice and add some milk and/or cream.

Shake everything together and serve straight up (no ice) in a (chilled) Martini glass. Topping with sprinkled chocolate gives that extra special touch.

RED LION
1/3 GRAND MARNIER
1/3 Dry Gin
1/6 Orange juice
1/6 Lemon juice

Combine in a shaker, add ice,
shake and strain into a cocktail glass.

B52
1/3 GRAND MARNIER
1/3 Coffee liqueur
1/3 Irish cream liqueur
Pour delicately on a bar spoon the coffee liqueur,
the Irish Cream then the GRAND MARNIER liqueur
into a shooter glass.

Serve without mixing.

GRAND ROYALE
3/10 GRAND MARNIER
7/10 Pineapple Juice

You can get all kinds of recipes from each liqueur's website.

Try mixing a measure of Amaretto with a measure of Bailey's and add some ice. It's lovely and quite a common mix over here. haven't tried it with Grand Marnier but I'm sure it would work! Agree that they're all good in coffee, particularly Amaretto.

I absolutely LOVE Gran Marnier! It is indeed an orange liqueur, and quite strong... that is for me it was an aquired taste!! My inlaws would give just a sip, and I'm talking strong, but after a few years, Icant imagine a holiday without enjoying a snifter.... if you arent into the strong liquors, you probably would enjoy this as an addition, and margaritas is an option (I personally cant imagine wasting it in a margarita *grin, but that may be because once I try it I wont want to go back!! *g) I know dh keeps trying to talk me into some of the recipes that are included for like French toast, egg nog, martinis etc,

but just remember, smell, and think burn strong liquer... but it is gold!! Once you acquire the taste.... ahhhhh heaven!! :)

as for Baily's I like it straight up (much like gran marnier lol) but dh loves it in coffee!! LOL, I volunteer in my dd 2nd grade classroom every week, and her teacher dropped off a Christmas present for ME!! LOL, it was a small bottle of Baily's, along with cute socks, candles, and a wonderful card!!

ENJOY!!

You guys are killing me with this thread! Bailey's is one of my most favorite drinks ever. I haven't had it in about 2 years and now I'm dying for some!

Another Bailey's fan here, got one in the fridge.

Chocolate ice cream, chocolate milk, ice and Bailey's in a blender then topped with whipped cream is delicious!

Well, thank you guys. So far my alcoholic consumption has been pretty much limited to wine but now I think I have been missing out on a lot! LOL. These sound so delicious...

I can hardly wait to crack open one of the bottles tonight after supper...now the only decision is which one, which one...

"Baileys contains no preservatives or additives and so should be consumed within 6 months of opening the bottle."

This has never been a problem in our household...it rarely lasts more than a couple of weeks...

It is exceptionally yummy in hot cocoa...Just keep it away from the kiddies!

For the amaretto, pour very hot water into a brandy snifter, then pour it out-all of it-put a little amaretto into the snifter and breathe the fumes....very warming...I love Frangelico this way...

I love Amaretto and Coke/Diet Coke. Tastes like a Cherry Coke with a little kick! :cool1:

I have a yummy recipe for a very rich chocolate cake with Amaretto in it. No frosting either, just sprinkle with additional Amaretto and powdered sugar. Easy and delicious!
