I have a quick question. Are the characters allowed to sign pictures that have been taken out of a coloring book and colored. My cousin did some pictures and she can't come with me but would love for the characters to sign her pictures.

I would sure think so. Could not imagine why not, and a neat idea too. How cool!!!!

They can do just about anything as long as the person isn't wearing it. I would be prepared with something like a clipboard though, as they are usually signing in midair.

Sounds like a terrific idea

Are these pictures of the characters? If so, I would not only say that they are allowed to but also that they will most likely love to sign it. The only things that characters cannot sign (to my knowlege) are any piece of clothing that the person is wearing at the time or anything that makes any sort of political statement.

I have a question now with the replies that have been given. I was thinking, for a change, that this trip I would give my kids new hats and have the characters sign them. I have seen a child at my kids' school that has a hat (normal baseball cap style) that has characters' signatures all over the cap (not brim) part. I thought this was a cool idea, and a great incentive to get the kids to wear their hats in the sun! So, my question is, if the characters won't sign anything that someone is wearing, does anyone have any idea if, and how, they will sign a baseball cap?
Thanks!

My DD has a hat that we had sign, not a ballcap but it is a cap that has a rim all the way around (can't think of what it's called). I picked it up at Wal-mart for like $3.00. We just took it of and kind of folded it to have it signed. It turned out really good. Make sure to use a waterproof marker like a sharpie rub-a-dub, we've had no problems with it bleeding or fading.

They have to not be wearing the hat when it's being signed is all. I think that would make a great souvineer. I just don't think DS would wear it-- he is so full of pre-teen I gotta be cool hormones right now!!!

When we were on our trip in 8/2002, there was a young couple waiting for autographs/photos from Buzz and Woody. When it was their turn, they posed for their picture, then, they unfolded a sign that had bold letters that said something like "Hi Bobby!" and asked the character hold the sign up and took a picture....we asked them about it and they said that they had a 3 year old nephew (that was not accompanying them on this trip), so they were going to give him a photo album with all the characters telling him Hi! As long as you are getting your cousin's pics autographed, you might surprise her with something like that.
