Question about auto payment

The 15th of the month is the date that my auto payment for DVC comes out of my checking account. Due to the power outage up here, my credit union was closed and will remain closed until Monday at the earliest. Does anyone know if I will be charged a "late fee" since the transaction didn't happen today?

I doubt it because the problem is in the system not with your account. The system will hold transactions clearing through those banks and clear them when the systems come back on line.

Even if your credit union is power less, the computers could still be on if they have separate power source or are located elsewhere.

Wait till next month and call MS Accounting and ask them to check your account. If one was charged, explain the situation and I suspect they will reverse it.
