Question about Aunt leaving early...

My aunt decided to go with us on the free dining trip. We're staying 10 days, but she can only get off for a week. Does she have to check out seperately, or are her extra meals just lost? Or can we use them as "gifts" for other families...spreading the magic? We really have no use for them as it is too much food just the way it is. Any ideas?

Is she staying in the same room as you? If so, then she wouldn't technically need to "check out" and the credits would be pooled on your room's reservation, so I would assume you could use the remaining credits. Personally I'd probably just toss them and not worry about it if you don't need them.

If she has her own room (which I'm doubting, otherwise why would she have booked a room for 10 days when she only needed it for 7), then I'm thinking you have no choice but to have her check out early and be done with it.

Just my $0.02...have no previous experience with this situation, so hopefully others can prove me right or wrong!! Good luck and have a wonderful (and yummy) trip!! :goodvibes

Yes, she'll be staying in the room with my mother. I was hoping I would be able to use them for unsuspecting people, but I don't want to be dishonest, either. :)

You're probably not going to be able to give her credits to folks not on the dining plan. However, you can schedule yourself a nice Signature meal and use them for your party.
