Our current cell contract with AT&T ended a year and a half ago -- as long as we don't make any changes, our rate stays the same forever.....
But -- we want to add a couple lines to our existing one-phone contract, so our teenagers can each have their own phone. The problem is, I don't want to lose our rollover minutes (we have accumulated about 3,000).

Is there any way to keep our rollover minutes, but add on lines? I talked briefly with our local AT&T store, who said it wasn't possible --- that we had to switch from an invididual plan to a family plan and that means losing our rollovers. Switching companies isn't an option -- reception is great with AT&T but spotty at best with other providers.

HELP!!!

I would call AT&T Directly, Some of these stores make more on selling the plan and will not tell you to the truth.

Determine if getting a separate contract for your teens is a viable option

WE just did this, as we added a line for our DD. We did have to change our plan to get her line added. After I received our first bill, and our roll over minutes were gone (not explained to me), I called AT&T and they reinstated them. We hade almost 5000. Now, YMMV but I show it can be done.....
