We are narrowing down our dates for our 2006 trip so I can make reservations soon. I just looked at the Holiday Calendar for next year and now I am conflicted about our dates. Originally I picked April 23 - May 2nd. THEN I noticed Easter is late next year, on April 16th...I was just wondering if Easter crowds will still be a problem for us the week after the holiday or is everyone usually gone by then?? I'm wondering if we should push it back a week to make sure we have no problems making ressies and getting time in the park with huge crowds!?!

Our last trip was April 26 2004 and we had a great time, the crowds weren't bad, the Spring Break crew had left and everything went pretty smoothly. I was hoping to make that our official time of year to go but now with this late Easter, I am not sure. HELP!!

We go every Easter. Kids are off and we visit CDS. He comes over after classes. Last year Easter was late and not very crowded. This year who knows. If we could I would go after Easter because of crowds. We also go at the end of Aug. to put CDS in school and there are no crowds at all.

I think those dates should work out for you. My guess is that the day you arrive will be when WDW changes from peak to regular rates at the resorts. That certainly could turn out not to be true, but has seemed to be the case in the past when Easter has been later. We go every April & are looking at those dates, too.
