Question about applying discounts

We already have a package booked. We are waiting for the discounts to be released to the general public on Monday. Our ADR date is this Sunday. My question is this:
If we can apply the discount to our exsisting reservation will we retain our current reservation number or will it change? I think it will stay the same (since it did when we added our FD pin). My sister (who is travelling with us and her DH) is worried that somehow messing with our reservation will affect our ADR's (since they get tied to our reservation number). Anyone have any experience with this?

If our reservation number did change does anyone know if this would affect our dining reservations?

Your ADR's won't be affected if you change your package. Those will still be intact.
