Question about AP with trip dates changed...

Hi,

My friend and I are planning on going to UO in late January 2022. We are staying at SF for 5 nights and have the 3 extra months AP they were offering last spring. With everything going on with the Delta Variant and so many cases of Covid-19 in Florida(we are both vaccinated) now and most likely in the next several months we are thinking of rescheduling to 1st week of December 2022. My mother is 88 and has an extremely compromised immune system. She has 2 heart conditions and bad Asthma so I'm concerned about going that time of year since I live with her. I know there's no guarantee that things will be better in December 2022, but we feel it may be wiser to wait. So my question is will we still get to use the AP if we activate them in December 2022 or will we have to buy new ones if we go in December 2022 and eat the money for the AP we already bought? I guess I'm asking is do the expire? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Should not be an issue it is one year and a day from your activation date - so the first time you use it (+ the 3 months - its possible that might expires but I doubt it)
Best to check with customer service - but thats how its been explained to me

It should not expire but I would call the Annual Pass number to inquire.

Thank you @tony67 and @damo for the info and advice. We still haven't definitely decided to change dates, but it is very possible it will happen. I will call UO to see if the passes can still be used. Thanks again.
