Question about AP renewal

Looking for some help...when you renew an annual pass does your year begin from the expiry of your previous year or can you hold off until your next visit and begin your year from your first park entry??

The renewal begins on your "anniversary" date....the date you first activated the original AP.

It used to be the other way which was GREAT!

That's right, and that's why we no loner renew, but instead purchase a whole new AP.

Whether we renew or just buy a new AP depends on our plans. This year for two in our family it worked better to just buy new APs. But for DS2 and me, I saved $15 each by renewing. It was just 2 days past our "anniversary date" and next year we will be traveling later in that month so getting a new AP wouldn't have helped anyway.

But we're getting three trips on the renewl APs so I'm not complaining.
