hi! i was just curious if the annual pass holder discount rates on rooms are much better than booking through AAA or expedia. How much of a discount are the AP rates usually? Im trying to decide if i should get a AP or not! THANKS!!!!!

Boy, that's not an easy question to answer. AP rates are generally a good bit better than all other rates. With that being said, they are not offered at all times of the year (i.e. most of June 2006). AP rates are also released fairly close to the travel dates (i.e. they were released within the last month for travel through Sept. 30).

Right now, the AP rates are $75 off Deluxe, and lesser amounts off mods and values. Sorry, I don't remember the specific amounts. Check out mousesavers.com

Hope that helps.

AAA rates offer a discount (I think 10 percent or so on our last trip). I booked with that, then later AP rates came out, lowering our hotel by $100 per day -- it was way better than the AAA discount. However, I think you can get the AAA discount any day of the year, and AP discounts are only available at certain times of the year.
