Question about AP codes for DVC resorts

I'm still confused... Do they ever offer AP codes for DVC resorts? I've seen the AP code "past history" list and noticed Wilderness Lodge and Boardwalk Inn, but it didn't specifically say VWL or BWV, nor anything about a 1br villa rate. So I'm thinking AP codes do not apply to DVC resorts, but wanted confirmation before I proceed with renting points. Anyone know?

They were running about $199 low season for BW, BC, this January. Recently OKW was $206 in April.

Was that $199 rate for a 1br villa, studio, or what? I'm just wondering if $160/night for a BWV std view room (or $220 for pref view) is a good rate-- or if the AP code (if there is one) might top that.

That had to be a studio. I had an AP rate of $270 plus tax last May for a 1 bedroom at OKW. Unless it has changed recently, when you work through CRO, there is not a standard and preferred rate for BWV, it's just one rate, kind of a "run of house" situation (they could put you anywhere).

Sorry to be unclear - those were studio rates. I believe that VWL was the same as BCV and BWV, don't know the rates at SSR.

I think that they are the lowest I have seen in low season at AP rates over the last 2 years, but I do remember paying about $154 for BWV studio a few years ago.

I just rented a BWV, preferred view, studio for Sept on the DIS rent/trade board.

$10. per point., 4 nights, Fri-Tues, 68pts., $680., is $170. per night and I think thats great!!

I have an AP rate for a SSR studio in early June. I also had a member discount for those same nights. The member discount was about $225 a night. The AP rate was about $208 per night. This is a studio. We had an OKW studio member cash night several years ago about the same time of year and it was about $140 a night.

I called for the SSR studio AP reservation about two days after they came out.
