I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, if I'm wrong I apologize.
I'm planning on buying an annual pass for me and for my boyfriend for his birthday. His birthday is in February and we aren't planning on going to the parks until May for my birthday. If I buy the passes in February will they be activated right away so the year long pass will be good from Feb 17 - Feb 18? Or will they be activated the first time we use them in May so it'll be good for May 17 - May 18? Does reserving fast passes effect this at all? I don't want to lose out on months we aren't going to be using it.
Also, when I buy his pass, on his account he has his nickname listed instead of his full birth name. Will this mess up purchasing the annual pass? Will he need to change his name back to his real name?
I read through all of the FAQ on the Disney site about the AP, but they didn't have much information on the matter.
Thank you!
