We are doing an 8 a.m. at breakfastsauros and was wondering if we get done before 9 when the park opens can we go wait on line for a ride or do we have sit in the restaraunt until official park opening time? Thanks

We always go to breakfastasuaras before the park opens. AK will do a rope drop at 9:00am. You can leave the restaurant and walk towards the tree of life. They hold everyone behind the rope and do a park opening ceremony. It is actually really cute. MM and the gang put on a little show. Then pretty much everyone runs to the safari and EE. Enjoy your breakfast and try and check out the opening ceremony if you can.

You can also walk toward Asia and do rope drop there and be closer it EE if that's where you're heading. Say hi to my hero for me.

No, you can't wander out of Dinoland before the park opens.

In May, 2006 this was our experience:

DAK non-EMH (9am open)
Donald's Breakfastosaurus: 8am Ressie.
Enter for breakfast at 7:55am
Breakfast finished at 8:40am
CM "held" everyone at Bone-yard area (nobody allowed to go back into DAK)
At 8:55am, we were "released" to walk on past the Tarzan Rocks/Nemo Theater (still just I-beams, under construction) to the bridge where two CM's were holding a rope.

They watched across the water until they saw the hordes of folks (being led by CM's) heading towards Asia.

They speed-walked us back to EE, but the "hordes" from the front gate beat us to the standby entrance (Asia is the shorter route to EE than Dinoland).

But, one of our CM's walked OUR group directly thru the FASTPASS entrance (she told the FP CM that we were "coming through"!)

We were on the FIRST ride, in the second car of EE that day!

COOL!

Now, I don't know if this is STANDARD PROCEDURE (so don't COUNT on it to happen) but it was a PERFECT way to start our DAK day, that morning.

We have been back several times since then, but have not done Breakfastosaurus again.
I have read posts from others who had a similar experience.

well that would stink if we don't get in to asia befopre the other people just entering. i will be P.O. maybe we will cancel our ressie then and just bethere at rope drop with everyone else.
