I was looking at seat guru, and it looks like there are emergency exits, front and back and somewhere in the middle.
for the seats in the middle are they very clearly marked? so when i am looking for a seat, i can steer clear of the emergency exit ones?
( like the episode of curb your enthusiasm on hbo, larry david didn't want to be responsible....LOL)
anyway, i want to head to the back half of the plane, the mid area of it, but want to steer clear of those seats by the exits in the middle.

Exit rows on the planes SWA uses are clearly marked and over the wings.

Don't worry, if you have children the flight attendants will make sure that you don't sit there. Passengers must be at least 15 to sit in the exit rows.

oh ok thank you! I did look at the swa site after and I saw that, that makes me feel better!

Exit rows on any airline are clearly marked. After all, how would people know they were emergency exits if they weren't marked.

LOL.....yeah I guess you are right, but I am thinking of myself and when I am concentrating on managing the kids, bags, etc, and looking for the seat, maybe I won't be so observant!! LOL
but you made me laugh at myself.......hehe

That's okay - if any of the kids you're managing are under fifteen, the Flight Attendants will make SURE you don't end up in the exit rows!

An FA stands at the exit row and usually says when you sit down that you are in an exit row. When you look at the wall of the plane, you can definitely tell the difference.
