Question about Air Tran

Do they issure credits if their price drops like Southwest does? I've never flown with them, but they're a little cheaper for me this time around. Thanks!

i just got 78.00 airtran credit for this months flight to disney.

Yes, they do. But not all operators know about it. I always call the A+ Rewards number and don't have a problem. But I've found if I call the regular number they sometimes tell me they don't do that. So I call back and speak to someone else who issues the credit for me.

Also the credit is good for one year. You don't have to fly with-in that year, just book the trip. I did this just this past year. I had $15 left over from a credit that was going to expire in June and I assumed I would lose it because I was traveling after that date. When I made my reservation in May for my November trip, it asked if I wanted to apply that credit to my flight. A nice surprise.

The credit is good for one year from the date of ORIGINAL booking. So if purchased your ticket 5 months ago the credit would only be good for 7 months.
