question about age and height restriction

If DD grows just a little and is tall enough to ride a couple of rides (like Matterhorn), she will still be 2 when we go. She will be turning 3 on the day we return. On the list of ride restrictions, many rides say you must be age 3 and tall enough (even gadget coaster). Is it bad if I say she is already 3? Will they have expected us to pay for her a ticket into the park, or would they even check? TIA!

Our DD is now 3 and is tall for her age and we've never been asked about her age (even when she was 2). They almost always check her height though. She loves to ride splash mountain and tower of terror (or just the tower as we call it).

The funny thing is that I have yet to see an age requirement on Disneyland's page of height requirements or on the signs at the parks.

I do see them on other sites, but not on their own actual website or their own signs.

I believe Matterhorn used to have an age requirement, but I've heard that at that point they didn't have a height req. When they put in the height req, they seemed to take away the age req.

My daughter was 2 1/2 when we took her to Disneyworld. There were no age questions asked when she rode the Barnstormer...very much like the Gadget go coaster. They did check her height though.
