Question about advance ressies and ticket prices

I read somewhere that a person had their trip booked for next year and that they were "locked in" to the 2006 ticket prices. Is this true? If I book my package with AAA as soon as they release those stinkin' package rates , will I avoid paying the increase when the ticket prices go up in January? That'd be fabulous

The rack rates for room only ressies came out about 2007. So if you booked your room, you should have received your room rate. If you bought your tickets already, you will not have to pay a price increase on your tickets. But we are all waiting for the "package prices". I am waiting for The Dining Package for next Easter. Right now the Dining Package is running $37.-- per person a day, less with ages 3-9 and you have to buy at least 1 base ticket and you have to have the dining package for as many nights as you stay at your wdw resort.

I heard the dining price is going to $40 and the base ticket will be going up slightly too. Put all 3 together and hopefully there will be some savings. Plus a code may come out to help save. Last year they gave free Park Hopping and extra's on your MYW tickets with a package for late Jan to early April.

I am aware of how the packages work and plan to buy the total package - the room at POR, hoppers and the dining package. I know the package prices aren't being released til at the earliest the end of this month, possibly not til August. Basically, if I were to book in August with the room/tix/dining, will I be charged the higher rates once they go up in January? I remember the free hoppers and more add-on from last year and am hoping they offer it again. :
