Question about ADRs

Hello all,

I apologize if this has been answered elsewhere but I can't seem to find the answer.

So we will be staying at POR in October 2016, but while we are there, some friends may be joining us sort of, but they will be staying off site. I have never done the ADR's or FP's online before and i guess I won't be able to until about April. So my question is when you're making your ADR's, does it ask how many are in your party or does it just go by how many people you have listed in your "My Experience" section?

Thanks!

One other question I forgot to ask.... I think I probably know the answer. 3 of us will be on the dining plan, our friends will not. Presumably its no different than if you had separate bills at a normal restaurant? We just mention to the staff before we start?

Make your dining reservations for the maximum number of people who might be dining because it is always easier to show up with fewer people (if your friends decide not to join you) than try to add people at the podium because anyone not on the reservation might be turned away. As long as at least one person shows up for the reservation you will not be charged for any missing guests.

At the restaurant just let your server know who will be using the dining plan and who will be paying OOP and your server will bring separate bills at the end of the meal.
