when I made my ADRs last month, before I had a reservation they asked me where I was going to be staying. I said that I hadn't made my hotel reservation yet, just wanted to do the ADRs and she said that was fine but what hotel were we thinking of staying in. I said "one of the values". She said okay. When I called to change one of my ADRs that CM said they had me as staying at ASMu. I told her we didn't have the room ressie yet and she said that was fine. Today I booked POP (our 1st choice). Do I need to call dining and tell them we are officially staying at POP, or does it matter since my ADRs are hooked to my phone number and I have all the confirmation numbers?

Just don't want anything to get messed up, and on the flip side of that I am a little nervous that if I call to change the resort it will screw up the ADRs somehow.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

No need to call. As long as they have your name and phone number you are good!

Your dining reservations are not linked to your room reservations at all. Not sure why that Cast Member was insistent on getting your resort choice.

They do ask for your reservation number (I didn't want to give it, because I knew I was going to change resorts next month).... She said they needed it, to check if you can book your ADR's at the 180 day plus 10 time window.

I told her I only wanted my ADR's tied to my name and phone number, She said if I changed resorts (thus a new reservation number) it wouldn't mess up my ADR's. But my ADR's did have the resort number attached to the info on my file.

Hi,

The reservation number is only necessary if you are doing the 180 + 10 booking thing. Otherwise you do NOT need a reservation number.
