Question about adjusting after a new code come out

Dh and I are thinking about going to WDW for the week of his birthday in November. I know I have heard that there might still be codes coming out for that time. (currently we have no code) I have also heard they may raise prices of tickets come August.

So, my question is.....If I booked a package before August and no deal has come out. Then one comes out in August or Sept. can they adjust it? Also, if/when they do adjust it for a room only discount or free dining, will they adjust the ticket price too, or leave that alone?

doesn't cancel your previous booking and make a new one and applies the changes if you revise for a discount, etc.

The CMs like to cancel a reservation because then they get credit for a new booking; don't let them do it if it's going to increase your cost. Go up the ladder if they try to do this to you.
