Question about adding ticket days

We currently have a package with tickets booked starting June 19th (fingers crossed). I originally booked 5 day tickets, but after reading a lot of posts here, decided to add the 6th day since it was so cheap. I called today and the nice CM said it was all taken care of, gave me the new cost, and said I'd get a confirmation email. That was around 9am. I still haven't received confirmation nor is it showing up in MDE. Should I call again tomorrow or are these things known to take time to update?

I don't remember the exact cost, but it wasn't much. If it ever updates on MDE, I'll tell you.

The cost of upgrading is easy to determine.
Just subtract the cost of the ticket that you HAVE from the cost of the ticket that you WANT.
Pay that difference for the upgrade.

In this case...
Subtract the cost (including tax) of a 5-day ticket, from the cost (including tax) of a 6-day ticket.
Pay that difference for the upgrade.

My TA recently added a 5th day on the 4 day park hoppers my DGS & I have booked for Sept. Two adult tickets adding a 5th Day cost $17 total.

OP- have you checked MDE to see if the change has been reflected? Last fall we upgraded our tickets to add the PH and MDE didn't show it right away. I contacted my travel agent and after she looked into it everything updated. I don't know what she did, but I'd check MDE if I were you and if it's not showing there I'd call again.

Yes, still not there. I'm on chat with a CM now to see if she can see anything.

I’m sorry, but that info does not sound correct.
It would not generally be possible to add a 5th day to a 4-day ticket for only $8.50 per ticket.
Can to double check that info?
(Or do you mean, $17 per ticket?)

Yeah, for 4 of us I think it was around $75. I'll let you know for sure once she and I finish this chat.

So the CM on chat said she still only sees the 5 days, so I have to call back. I can't do that until a bit later, but I'll keep you posted on what I find out.

Whew.....the CM on the phone got me straight. When the change went through on my tickets (which did take about 24 hours to show in MDE), it unlinked my family. They got me all fixed up and we are good now.

The total cost to go from a 5 day Park Hopper Plus (we are doing water parks this trip...never experienced those before) to a 6 day Park Hopper Plus for all 4 of us was $78.52, or $19.63 per person. Not bad at all!
