Here's a dumb question:

Suppose you own 150 points for the Wilderness Lodge, and you now want to add an additional 150 points to your membership. If I purchase 150 points at the Beach Club, which resort would be considered for "home priority?"

For example, let's say I want to make reservation 9 months out that would require 160 points. Is there an easy way to determine "home priority" in this case, or do I have to deal with a banking/borrowing headache?

Thanks!

Each set of points would retain their own home-resort priority. To make the reservation in your example you could book 150 points worth of nights at the 11 month window and then you would have to add the rest at the 7 month window.

You got your answer, but I'd just like to add that's it's far from a headache. What happens is you call and make your reservation. The person from Member Services that's on the phone with you will say "This reservation requires 160 points. You only have 150 available. Would you like to borrow 10 from next year?" And you say yes.

You'll have to remember that you now will only have 140 points next year, but you'll want to keep track of your points regardless. Banking and/or borrowing really doesn't make things too more complicated.
