My 14 & 16 year old boys had decided they weren't going on our upcoming trip. Now they are changing their minds, maybe. We won't be 100% positive until mid-January. I had already bumped us to 1 room at POR from 2 rooms at Pop on the SPD promo. I know the booking for that ends 12/31.

If they decide to go, we'll need to go back to 2 rooms at Pop. Can I switch back to Pop & add another room & 2 kids to our existing package & they still be covered under the SPD rates? Or will I have to forgo that discount for them & hope for the new one to be decent?

Usually if you want to rebook anything, you have to use the current discount offer available. So if the discount you originally used is still available, then you can do it using the same discount. If it is not still being offered, then you have to use a discount that is currently being offered, or pay full rack rate. If your offer expires on Dec 31st, then you can't make a new booking (waht you would be doing in WDW's eyes) using an expired offer. that said, it might be worth doiing withthe new offer - if it is available. Disney only puts so many rooms up for any discount offer, noce that percentage of rooms is booked, you can't get it.

In your case, you are slightly in a bind, since you want to different resorts. Is there any way you can get them to commit this week? or by Jan 2?

The one thing you can do is book two rooms withthe discount, but reduce your reservation to oneroom - but keep the discount you had.
