Question about Adding on a night with summer deal

I feel like I should know the answer since we've been more than a dozen times and 3rd trip in less than 2 years but I'm drawing a blank here.

We are currently booked at the Contemporary 8/13-8/17. We want to extend it to the 18th because of flights/airfare availability. Can I just call and get the extra day added on or will they have to cancel and rebook? I've looked online and the room we have now is still available with the discount for the entire stay so if we had to cancel/rebook we could but is it possible to just add on 1 night to the end without rebooking the entire trip?

I just got off the phone with Disney 20 minutes ago to move our check in day up one day and add DH to the ressie, they did it all with no problems! I have the same ressie number and even got DH on all the FP+ we'd already chosen!

Just call and add... No need to cancel and rebook. Of you do cancel though make sure you have a new reservation booked before you cancel your old!!!

I tried to do the same, but our room isn't available for the extra night... It would cost us an extra $401 and we'd have to move to a standard view room and the free dining wasn't available... Boo! Wanted to stay linger!! Lol
