Question about Add on's for those who've done it -

We are thinking about adding on points, we are a March use year - my ? is - is this a hard use year to find add on's for? anyone know if there are ones available (home resort is OKW, but I would be willing to add on anywhere)? and how does the wait list work? do they split up resales if there are people on the waitlist?

Only Disney can split up contracts that they get back from ROFR. This allows them to buy back bigger contracts and sell them in small amounts. They do have a wiatlist so if you want to buy from Disney you should call your guide and be put on one. I don't know if any use year is harder to get than others but on the resale sites, there are March use years available at OKW if you want to add on that way.

We have been members at OKW since 1994 with a Feb use year. We found a 50-point add-on for HHI, which fit our needs exactly and it was a Feb use year. We bought from dvcbyresale.com from Shontell and it was very easy. She is wonderful. I know it would have taken alot longer thru dvc for that small an add-on.

Be aware--- if you put yourself on a waitlist for points with Disney and they DO come through, you will not be offered any MB or other discount. You will pay the going rate for points.
