Question about activating package tickets early and FP+

Hi all,
We arrive on the night of the 23rd and have a free dining package that starts on the 25th. We are staying off site for the first 2 nights.
We would like to go to AK on the 24th and activate our tickets a day early. We have 7 day hoppers, and currently only have 6 days of FP+ scheduled. I know I can go to guest relations and activate up to 3 days early, but how will I go about getting FP+ for the day after we activate? Will I be able to go online and add them, or should I got to a kiosk?

Will this mess up our other FP?

You can activate up to 10 days in advance now.

As soon as you activate your tickets, use the MDE app or a FP kiosk and book your set of three FPs for your group.

It won't mess up your pre-booked FPs because you have left the 7th day of FP allotment open for use.
