We are going in May and the bulk of our stay will be in a 1 bedroom at BLT, however, the first night of our trip we can't get in, so we were thinking of staying in a studio at SSR or OKW and transferring on our first full day.

So here's the question: Are the toilets in the accessible studios raised higher than the standard toilet?

We have a toilet seat that raises it up six inches, but it is in our owner's locker. I wanted to wait to have the OL delivered once we get to BLT so we had a minimum of stuff to deal with in the studio. The only thing we need "accessible" is the raised seat. In the THV the toilet was higher in the Master Bath than in the 2nd bath, so I'm hoping that in the studio they would do the same thing.

We've tried to get mobility devices from Disney and MS told us it would be "no problem", however, even though I requested it in the reservation it took several calls to the front desk to get a toilet aid. The shower chair was such a hassle that I gave up on it!

If anyone knows the answer I'd appreciate knowing!

Thanks!

I had a HA studio in Jambo in December and the toilet was higher, but I don't know if it was 6 inches higher.

My mother in law will only stay in HA rooms, she really needs the raised toilet and has never had a problem. The bathrooms are usually much bigger as well.
