Question about AAA parking pass

Is it only good for the time of your reservation with AAA? We are thinking on adding a day to our trip. I was wondering if I could still use it on the days that I reserved myself not through AAA.

The pass itself is valid for a calendar year.

I don't know of any restrictions that would prevent you from using it any time during that year.
