When I look on AAA's website, their prices are listed the same as rack rate. . We're looking at POFQ for May 20-27 and it lists it at $165 which is rack rate.
Slightly off-topic here, but do the rates quoted on the AAA website include tax? The fine print at the bottom of their pricing page says the rate "may not" include tax. I'm assuming this means it does not.
I find the AAA site to be a pain to book on. If I were in your shoes I would call CRO directly to book and ask them to apply your AAA rate for you. It may be much easier and may have a better chance of getting the AAA rate than if you wait around for their site to update.
the rate they show AAA does not include the tax. Also even though it may show a room available, it doesn't search for that WDW room until you put your card in and book - I just found this out. And I called AAA and they confirmed that the Disney resorts are the only ones like that on their online site!

There are 3 options:
AAA Member Exclusive Hotel Deals - AAA contracts with a tour company to offer their unused blocks of rooms and this is where you can search for them. I've never seen Disney hotels listed here, but they have some great deals on other Orlando area hotels. I've stayed at the Fairfield at Marriott Village off Vineland for around $50/night when the rack rate was $129. I've also seen the Swan and Dolphin offered here, but they were basically the same price as rack rate.
AAA Tour Book Properties - This is a link to search for all AAA hotels. You should be able to find Disney resorts here. I've never booked through this, but when I checked before, I did see all the Disney resorts listed and the prices shown did include the AAA discount.
This is all confusing to me,
I want to book Pop for Oct 19-24 2007 with aaa but I just want a quote for now. Do I just call them and tell them I want the price for 5 nights, (2) 1 day tickets with dining?
The dining would be for all 5 days, right?

Yes, that is how you can get a quote. If you aren't a AAA member yet, tell them that you will join if the price is right on the vacation (that way they can quote you the AAA discount price). It is a good idea to price it out thru CRO or on the disney website first so you can see how much your savings would be. HTH!
