Question about a mole.....

I know I need to go have it seen but just wondering if anyone else has ever had something similar.

It's a fairly new mole, I probably noticed it six months ago. It's pink in color and round and barely raised. It doesn't hurt but does have feeling like when I touch it you can feel a teensy bit of pain under it but thats probably because when I remember its there I mess with it.

The problem is it's right where the underwire of my bra fits. If it was anywhere else on my body I probably wouldn't even have noticed it but sometimes my bra will agitate a little and it will itch.

Its not big at all and I wouldn't worry about having it removed if it was in a different place.

Anyone else ever had anything similar?

Is it possible it can be one of those little "skin tags"??? They are pinkish and usually form around areas where clothing or jewelry rubs against the skin.
If it continues to bother you, or it changes color or shape, then I would say call the Dr.

I am guessing skin tag, too. A lot of people, including me, get small ones under where their underwire sits. To make yourself feel better, visit your doctor. He or she would rather tell you it is nothing, especially if it is really worrying you, than tell you it is something you should have gotten checked out a long time ago. Take it from someone who knows.

If you feel uncomfortable about it, see your doctor and ask for a biopsy. I lived with a questionable spot on my arm for 4 years and it turned out to be a basal cell cancer. I kept asking my doctor and he kept saying it was nothing. The dermatologist he referred me to also said it was nothing but took a biopsy "for my peace of mind". I had surgery a week ago to remove the cancer. My arm is sore but I'll be fine. When I look at all of the sticthes in my arm, I keep thinking that if I had insisted more and earlier that the wound from surgery would not have been as bad.

I hope that I am not unneccessarily scaring you. I just think that it is best to err on the side of caution.
