I just had a 2br villa suite at BCV held for me for April 09 but was very surprised that the price was $1000 a night for regular season.I know they dont know the prices yet but the agent wouldn't tell me this is "peak" prices for 08 more like this is an estimation of the 09 price.Does this seem high for regular season I was thinking more like 750-800 per night your thoughts.

When you make a reservation for 2009 they are charging you a deposit based on the 2008 peak rate for the resort. It does not matter when you are going in 2009, that is how they charge the deposit. Once the real rates are out, they will contact you with the real rates.

thanks for the reply and thats what i thought but they didnt act like it would change much and the reason for my post was more like is 1000 a night normal for this time period or should I expect much lower?

Since Easter Sunday is April 12, 2009, that generally means that it WILL be PEAK season until at least April 19th. After that date it will drop to regular season. Will your dates fall into PEAK or regular season. There's a big difference between the two.
