...Your comments on instructions reinforces my thought to have a photo album in each room containing necessary information, I figure the room desciptions would be insufficient but I can fit quite a bit in an album.

Three comments on this. One is that even though you may have multiple photo albums they all will have the same pictures in them. So you will have to fit all the instructions for all the rooms in one album. There is a limit to the number of pictures an album will hold, but it is pretty high. Two is that the photos do not stay in an album in the order you place them in it. They seem to display in the order you took them from oldest to newest. This means that you have to take the pictures for the album in the order you want them shown in it. Third is that an album wraps around from the last photo back to the first, so you should make the first picture a plainly labeled start.

...I planned to have a teleporter in each room that will lead to the main room...

If you have multiple teleports in a room be sure to label where they go by pictures on the wall over them. You also could use one type of teleport that solely leads to the main room. This way you could say in your instructions that the xxx teleports always go back to the main room. Also you may end up with a main room filled with teleports and the quest machine. It might work better to put all the room teleports into another room where they all load into a single teleport that goes to the main room.

BobRichmond: hmm interesting, I think the albums will be used mainly because it seems I would be able to fit more information there than in the room description window, photos themselves probably won't have anything to do with the game at all, although that may change as I learn more from you folks and get a little more familiar with what I'm trying to do

as for the teleporters, there will be ride teleporters but only one regular teleporter and that will lead to the main room but I will make sure to label it and make it clear that's what it's for
