Thats just what i needed the Quest Kiosk is now 30,000 credits

OMG that is so unfair DS is saving up for one and only has about 8,000 credits he will never get there if they keep upping the credit price!

They should at least make it so it can be traded.

OMG! That is so wrong. It was already as expensive as heck. Now they up another 10,000 credits?

I guess they thought that too many people could afford them. :confused3

I'm happy that I got mine already. Just need to put it to use.
I just feel sorry for all those that haven't been able to get it yet.

The op wrote 300,000 credits... is it that or 30,000 credits?

OP wrote 300,000 credits.

I just checked, and the kiosk is 30,000 credits, not 300,000. While I'm disappointed it went up, at least it was not up to 300,000 credits.

:) I will sell my fireworks and invisibitlity magic for 25,000 credits or my gold ears and magenta rocket chair with the molecules and crystal pin. or all five tomorrowland pins with a shamrock pin or my whole super suit :) Who ever will do this deal needs a quest kiosk to give me the credits. I will give you 1 item first then after i get the credits give you the rest of the deal.

---:scared1: The stuff I asked for then is outrageous!!

yeah! sorry if it's been posted but at least it's staying!

That's a 50% increase. If this was the real world, there'd be a revolt. Then again, a virtual Stitch hat went for over $300 on an online auction this weekend, so I guess anything's possible!

Regardless, as long as people will mule for prizes and be rude for prizes and falsely report one another for prizes, I know I won't be parting with that many credits any time soon! It's a shame, too, because I'd love to design a quest.

C'est la vie!

I guess they don't want people to create many quests. Why else would they make it so expensive? :confused3

I apologize if this has been asked before but I had another one of my slightly twisted thoughts. Can a quest generator be one of the prizes for a quest? If so, that would be a way to get around the no trading garbage.

Of course, I'll never quite understand the reasoning behind not being able to trade items. Sure some people abused the privilege but why punish everyone? :confused3

qruthie (the 'q' is silent and ruthie seems to be a bit cranky today)

I haven't tried, but I'm pretty sure the answer is no.

Others have posted that if you try to put in a non-tradable item as a prize, it tells you that you can't do it.

Had I thought about it, I probably woudn't have bought one.Just no a big fan of giving my stuff away.To bad there not tradable.Oh well.lol

Oh and to be fair, I haven't done any one elses quest.Just the week end quest's.

Hmm. the whole quest thing actually got me on VMK for a few minutes. I guess now i'll go back into hibernation.......

I had a sneaking suspicion yesterday that since quest month was ending, they might do away with them all together. So, I went over at the last minute and bought one. Good thing I did... it pained me to spend 20,000 credits let alone 30,000. :sad2:

That's outrageous!!!! Considering how most kids couldn't afford Bat Magic, that's just really ridiculous. Even as an addicted adult, that's several weeks of playing at a couple hours a day to get there (keeping in mind stuff comes out on the weekends!!) Who wants to always be frantically making credits either? Sometimes it's just nice to sit with friends! (Isn't that in this over-priced quest maker that they wrote themselves? :p )

Y'know, the LEAST they could do would be to make the cost of the quest kiosk go towards prizes for the quests you make with it. Like, you spend 30,000 on a quest kiosk, and then you've got 30,000 credits that you can only use on prizes.

Making people spend 30,000 for a quest kiosk and then have to put forth MORE money for prizes - and not even allowing quest owners to charge people for doing the quest! - is just gouging.

I have less and less respect for the designers of VMK as time go on.
After this past weekends #%%&^( quests and today's new cost of the quest maker, it is practicially at zero.

Yesterday after I left the computer in frusration and crying over being kicked offline yet again in the middle of a quest, my husband asked me "Why do you play this game if it makes you so unhappy?"

I was pretty hard pressed to come up with a "good" answer. Basically -somethings are good and somethings are bad. But it seems that more and more the design of the game is getting worst....
(argg I just dc while writing this post and was in line for Fin's new staff game)...
and I hate the offsite games like Yeti and Buzz -which I still can't play.

I can't get any answers to my questions. I still have not got any answers to my emails from December, January, or February.

I can't believe it; they raised the quest kiosk's price to 30,000! As if 20,000 was hard enough! Sheesh...

I went to get my quest kiosk on Friday and got DC, so I thought I would get it over the weekend...then I was too busy doing VMK quests and getting DC every half hour. Now I go to get it today and the price was raised 10,000 more credits??? :confused3
I used to defend VMK since it is after all a free game but this is rediculous. And it is supposed to be geared towards kids..well VMK thanks for making more kids cry. :badpc: :badpc: :badpc: :badpc:
Oh while I was writing this I got DC..big shocker!!

I think the reason the quest kiosk is so expensive is so that people don't create mules, buy a kiosk with their mule, enter a bunch of codes for credits (like the ones posted on the sticky) and then give their credits to a main character as a prize in a quest, and then repeat, giving them access to lots of credits easily. I can understand this reasoning, but I think there should be a better way for VMK to deal with this problem. Yet another problem with mules on VMK. I think they should either limit the amount of mules or monitor the IP addresses of those who do quests. Anyone else have any ideas?
