Quest Engines Can Erase?!

Ok, so I had my Haunted Mansion Quest all set up Friday night, tested it, and got it active with 30 prizes in it before closing. I signed on from WDW yesterday to open the lobby for people to win stuff and BAM! The engine that was set up for the HM quest was not only deleted of all it's containing tasks, but, all 30 prizes are gone too! I can assure you, I had the thing ready for guests to play Friday night, along with 2 other engines. The next morning 2 engines were still fired up, while this one was empty of an information. Has this happened to any other quest makers out there?

I don't mind making the tasks over again, but I don't want to fill another lame engine with rare and retired stuff, only to have the thing swallow it all again!

After this happened, I promptly took a monorail over to Epcot to relieve my worries around the world.. totally.

Wow, that sucks. Maybe the staff came into your room when VMK was closed amd it took it all...

yeah this happened to me, if you have it set up as a timed quest it will close after hours

If it's a timed quest, or your prizes run out, your set tasks and quest title do not erase. I haven't used a timed quest yet, but I surely doubt you lose your stuff that you've put in the machine because people couldn't beat it in time.

Oh yeah, and I doubt staff took my stuff, get real.

I've lost about 35 items from this stupid machine ranging from gold and black mickey ears, blue tables, fireworks magic, retired pins and posters... even gold stuff. I really hope staff gets on the ball about this as they've blown me off this far. I'll be calling them Monday morning, because most of those items lost were paid for by me indirectly by gaining entry to WDW. That's not fair.

I tested mine and realized that it emptied the prizes back to me. Have
you checked to see if it was put back into your inventory? If it didn't then (I know you probably think it's pointless) send a message in to the black hole. I am sure they will return your lost stuff.

Oh no! I am so sorry that happen to you I think I will hold off making a quest for awhile.

I would be devastated if that happened to me.


Surely they can check that and get your stuff back to you.

We had never got the "accepted" horn from vmk during the everest event and our leader and phoned some big shot in vmk to where they were able to confirm we were good to go. I'm hoping that number might help me more than staff wants to and way more the black hole could ever.

It really is a bummer though, I've worked hard to get that thing, was very excited to have it running, and to check it in WDW of all places and to see it's deleted, it just really sucks. And with staff's auto-reply to the matter, it makes you say why even bother.

Sorry to hear about this.
Seems like another major bug that needs fixed. I guess I'll hold off on making a quest until I hear that it's been fixed.

If you don't cvlose the quest before you stop working on it you lose what you did. If you DC you lose any changes.

The prizes go back to your inventory. You just lose the time you spent working on it so I made sure I would close the quest now and again while I was working on it.

I haven't lose anything and I have run it in a room three times and each time
I have to teat is again and I have tweaked a few things so it's like starting over.

Believe me it could not be easier.
