So I am trying to piece together a vacation stay at BCV. I have one night here, two nights there, another one here...etc I booked all of them online myself by checking daily, and they all have different reservation numbers. I have 3 nights left to go. Fingers crossed tha I will get those last 3. If I do, can I then call member services and ask them to link the reservations? Is there any disadvantage to doing it myself? (They are obviously all of the same room type.) I just dont want to hurt my chances of not having to change rooms by doing it myself, but I am not sure if it makes a difference who initally books it , me or MS. Thanks for any suggestions!

MS can link them, but it would be better if you get them to combine them into a single reservation (assuming same booking category).

They did that for me last November. I had a 5 night waitlist. Nights 3, 4, 5 came through online so I booked them and changed the waitlist. Night 2 came open, I booked it, so a second reservation. Night 1 was still on waitlist, it actually came through and MS cancelled the other 2 and made one 5 night reservation.

You may not want to change/link anything after making any FP+ reservations.

Thanks all, good thought about the FP+! I am hoping my waitlists come through before the 60 day window opens...otherwise I will really besweating it! :scared:
