Once you enter Disneyland, does that one scan give you entry into DCA as well?

If my family leaves DL to back to the hotel, can I take all their tickets, enter DCA and get a FP for everyone, or do they all have to physically enter DCA too?

I'm pretty sure you can. I found a ticket on the ground once at DL later I used it to get a FP at DCA

No, you must have your ticket everytime you enter or re-enter a park. I am also pretty sure the ticket must be scanned at the gate in order to work in the fast pass machine. There may be flukes, but I remember someone on here say how they tried to do that and it didn't work. If you have someone's ticket with you in DCA and they are at the hotel and come to meet you, they cannot go in, you must come out to them. They need the ticket AND the handstamp. :) Maybe others can confirm about the fast pass.

I think what the op is asking is if she can go grab a FP on her way back to meet them at the hotel, and the answer is yes. I am pretty sure that once that ticket is activated for the day it is activated in both systems. However there is a sticky on the top of the Disneyland message board page, hydroguy's tips about FP's and I believe he covers this question. Have a great trip! :)

im pretty sure you can take the tickets of your family members and enter in DL to get FP while they are in the hotel. just make sure you get that hand stamp when re-entering the park.

I think what you are asking is, "Once you enter Disneyland and have your ticket scanned which activates it for that day, does that one scan validate the ticket for both parks for the FP system?"

The answer is, "Yes."

If I misunderstood, sorry.

When we went to Disneyland in November of 2007, we didn't have to use FP. This time we're going the week before Labor Day...a much more crowded time of year.

Once your ticket is scanned in either park it is valid for FP in both parks. Many times DBF will take our APs and run to DCA and get us FP, we do not have to be with him and if we are meeting him in DCA he just meets us in the esplanade with our tickets. You will be just fine taking your parties tickets and running for FPs.

I'm pretty sure you can do this. My SIL actually used her ILs PH to get FP, even though they had not entered that day AND they had already used all 3 days of the PH!

ETA: This isn't recommended by Disney rules & fairness police. ;)
