Ques. about POP's food court

Actually 2 questions. Does anyone know the hours (opening and closing)? I could not find that anywhere. Also, I noticed on the menu it has kids dining options but states 11 and under. Can an adult order off the kids menu?

My experience has been that adults can order off the kids menu. I don't think they're gonna come after you! (But, hey, you never know! ) According to http://www.allearsnet.com/menu/menu_popct.htm the hours are from 5am-Midnight. Hope this helps!

Thats great. Besides being a couple bucks cheaper, I dont usually eat the larger portions, especially on vacation. I seem to eat less on vacation for some reason. Just wondering if the hours change as EMH changes.

Daxx's wife here! When we were there in Oct. 04, I ordered off the kids menu. Nobody questioned me, stopped me, yelled at me, etc. I don't have a huge appetite, so the kids portions (and a Mickey Ice Cream bar) are often perfect for me!

And, the food court has the best Chinese shrimp lo-mein! I wish I had some now! Mmmm, mmmm! Oh, and some of those Mickey waffles would taste great now ... not to mention the Mickeyroni and cheese!!! Mmmmmmmm!

Count me as another adult that ordered only a kid's meal. You won't have any problems ordering as you wish.

Yep, I have ordered from the kids menu before too. Mostly because I don't eat large portions at one time. I am a grazer and even a kids meal at times was to much for me.

No problems at all.

Those of you ordering kid's meals - did you have kids in your group? (And i.e., maybe they assumed the meal was for them, and not for you?).

My DH and I (no kids) are staying one night at Pop before checking in to the AKL, and I'd be curious. Does ordering kid's meals at other counter-service restaurants work, too? Portions at Disney are pretty big...

I ordered the kids mac and cheese for myself during our trip last April. I was at the pasta station alone. The CM that fixed the meal and the CM at the register next blinked an eye.

The food court was open from 6 a.m. to midnight last week. I would often send my DS and DD to a line to get what they wanted and my DS would go to another line and get my order and his and I would wait for them and we would all go pay. I don't think they care if you order from the kid's menu. It would be really hard to tell who was ordering what and for whom.

I found out the hard way. Could have sworn on the last trip that the foodcourt opened at 5:30 as mears was picking us up at 6am. So the cold food areas as we now know are open at 6am and the hot food at 6:30 and 7.

Also the drink island and stuff opens a little after 6am. Well there was some watered down cherry coke but it was nasty.
