If on the dining plan, how does it work for tipping? I hear you have to tip at the counter service restaurants, but will it be billed to my card, or do I pay cash? Is it optional, as I usually didn't tip at quick service or counter service places.

I took cash, but the day I forgot they were able to charge the tip to my room with my KTTW card.

Pepper Market at CSR is the only QS you will have to worry about tipping at. This is just because of the unique way they serve you. PP is correct in that they can charge to your card if you don't have cash. In order to avoid tipping, you can also get your food to go and eat at one of the outdoor tables by the lake.
