Obviously the £189 World Pass is a fantastic offer and one we've personally taken up.

I was just wondering if anybody thinks we should get our other attraction tickets from the UK, or leave until the welcome meeting in Orlando ?

We were going to opt for the 2 park 7 day Universal ticket and the Adventure Passport for SW/BG.

Sorry to all those Disney loyals for bringing up the competition, but you have to go and check them out !!!!

What do you think ?

have you tried ticket mania .com?
they are doing 2 day get a day free to us/ioa for $94 and seaworld buy one get 1 day free for $51
i have used them before and they always give good prompt service and all shipping to the uk is free of charge
you get the tickets and not vouchers
there are loads of choice from them and they seem to do tickets for almost everything.
hope this helps

Just got our passes from Ticketmania. They came with lots and lots of tourist leaflets and info. The postman couldn't fit the package through the letterbox.

The only thing I can think of against them is the 2 day(plus 1 day free) at Universal. I think Universal's Website is doing a bonus pass (5days) for about $90. I paid $92 for the 3 days at ticketmania. Not sure if Universal offer shipping or include taxes. Also Seaworld is doing an e ticket offer which would have worked out cheaper for us than buying from ticketmania.

At the time I ordered them they were the cheapest deal for us. Neither Seaworld or Universal had the offers on when I ordered them. Best bet is to check as many sites as possible before ordering.

Julian,

On the Universal website you can buy a Power pass which is an annual pass.It does have black out dates but if these don't affect you it is fantastic value,I've just bought them.It is $99 plus tax.At todays exchange rate that is only £69.I know other ticket firms are doing 5 free days witha 2 day pass etc. but have you noticed these all have to be used within a short space of time.If you want to spread the days out on a holiday I think the Power Pass beats any pass available over here.

On the Sea World site you can buy a pass that is valid from now until December 31st for $51 (I think it is) you print out the tickets,so no shipping costs. It is in line with the get one free day offer mentioned but at the same price you could go several times with the Fun Pass.

Hi Karen,

Thanks for the info. It all seems a bit swings and roundabouts to me.

From a personal point of view we want to go to all of Disney, Universal and IOA, Sea World and Busch.

Having already got our Disney tickets our options are thus:-

Your deal would amount to £135 for the Universal Powepass and indiviudal SW/BG tickets.

On the Virgin website (K Prowse) we can get 7 days for the price of 2 at US/IOA and get a Adventure Passport ticket for SW/BG totally £137.70.

Not a great deal of difference. The Adventure Passport allows upto 21 consecutive days at SW & BG.

The major benefit from your deal is that you can go to US/IOA whenever, as opposed to fitting it all within 7 days, but is that really going to be a problem ?

It's fun this isn't it ?

Julian

LOl! NO Julian I hate it;) The indecision was driving me mad,so it was a relief when I just bought the tickets I was dithering over.

As you said there really isn't much in it with your ticket choices either:cool:

I know exactly what you mean !!!!

This is the first year we've opted to buy the tickets in advance, partly due to the cracking deal on the World Ticket but also because we don't want to hang around too long at the welcome meeting. Lots to do !!!!

I think it's MGM for us first proper day as last time. Can't wait !

"Dude, looks like a lady" !!!!!!!

Julian....
