Query about Walt's restaurant

It was open this week on Sunday. (And we ate there)
Then it was closed for the rest of our stay. (Monday-Wednesday)
But I sure this will change during high season. This week the resort was not very crowded.

When were you there? We had a 1 pm reservation on Sunday and sat in the room facing Main Street.

We were there at 6pm and had for the first time a table in the Fantasyland part of the restaurant. Now we have been in the Main Street-, Fantasyland-, Adventureland- and Discoverypart of the restaurant.

We had as always the Walts Gourmet Burger.

Great pictures! We tried to book Walt's for our September trip but were told it is closed then Any other ideas? We are going to Blue Lagoon already. Maybe Auberge de Cendrillion or Agrabah Cafe?

Try the Silver Spur or the Steakhouse. To me they are the finest cheap table service restaurants (if you cannot get into Walts).

I'm a WDWR veteran, but a DLRP newbie, so it is fun to get recommendations like this from the locals. My DH and I live and work in Europe now and sometimes miss American food. It looks like Walt's will make us feel homey. This weekend's trip is going to be on the cheap, but I'll keep this in mind when we've got more dough to splurge.

Walts was shut when we were there last (And probably will be in when go to DLRP again... )

Walts seems to only be open on certain days (at least when it is not high season). When we went in April it was closed Tuesday and Wednesday but open the other days of the week. When we make our ADR's for October I intend to ask what days it is open and base my other ADR's around that.

If it's open on Thursday I might have to persuade Robert to buy an extra park ticket so we can go!!! We only have tickets for Tuesday and Wednesday!

Nope. I've been trying to make him do it though! I'm really useless on the phone..... It takes me three weeks to pluck up the courage to ring Robert! Lol!
