I loved staying at this hotel and going on the skating ring

plus it was a massive bonus being able to walk to the parks and not having to get on the bus

Hi! Just wondering how much it costs to have your breakfast delivered to your room? Do you have to ask when you check in, or just phone room service? Are they able to to deliver a hot breakfast?

We thought it would be a nice treat this trip, rather than to be up at 7am and shovel some croissants down, to have a nice relaxed breakfast in bed before we hit the parks :)

It costs about 8 euros and I think you fill in a room service card and leave it on your door the night before - but probably worth asking about that when you check in! Don't know about the hot breakfast though.

Worth doing once - it's very pleasant way to start the day. :)

Well done Becky!!! :cool1: It looks like a superb place to stay - we'll have to start saving our pennies!!! :sunny:

Thanks Di - and everyone else for your positive comments. :goodvibes Must do something about the photos - they make the other FAQs look really good!

Some really nice Xmas decorations up in HNY this year ....

Ok, I'm aware no one has posted on this thread since 2005, but I'm staying at the Hotel New York in April and I'd love to see some pictures and hear some info on it.

Has anyone done the night time tour of Paris? Can you tell me about it?

Also, I'm not paying for any extra for a water view room. What kind of view can I expect?

Haven't got any pics to hand, sorry.

Regarding the view, you may end up getting a lake view anyway as this has happened to us once. Other views include the car park, the back/side of Disney Village.

Can someone clarify for me, I've been reading reviews elsewhere and I get the impression that there is a cooked breakfast selection as standard at NY, is that correct ? it's not a big deal, just trying to justify the additional cost of a stay here. ;)

Yes the cooked breakfast items are out on the buffet along with the cereals, cold meats and cheeses, fruit and pasteries. When we were there a few weeks ago there was bacon, scrambled eggs, sausages and potato.:thumbsup2

Thanks DanaUK, first week of October there's an extra night and day free it seems like the ideal time to have a stay here at a very reasonable price. :thumbsup2

Does anyone know if there are any rooms or suites at HNY that will sleep six?
Thanks!

Would my 2 year old get bored of this hotel? I heard its very businesslike.

It is more adult orientated & they always seem to have conferences on so there are usually business people milling around, so Kyra may not find it as interesting as the other hotels.

Having said that I love staying here & if money was no object I would book here 99% of the time.

Are there any character breakfasts at HNY?

I am going there this weekend but last time I was there, there was characters just a little bit outside, near a cut out of a USA taxi, with a rotation of characters, we saw Pluto often, breakfast was in parkside diner and mainly help yuorself and no characters there,

Closest place Cafe Mickey. or in the park at Plaza, you get a discount if you stay in Disney hotesl and then book a CB at those.
