Queer Eye Last Night - A Meltdown!!!

Did anyone watch last night's "Queer Eye"? It was the first time I ever saw a complete disaster for the Fab 5 and their "guy".

Of course, his girlfriend was quite the witch. She wasn't grateful at all for the effort that he made.

Which one was it? Usually I watch on Tuesday night but I missed it this week. I'd like to see one where everything wasn't perfect at the end.

No, I didn't see that episode but I did see Carson Kressley in person today at a home and garden show. He was sooooo funny!!! He said it takes 80 hrs. of video to make one episode!! He also said if the makeover doesn't turn out well then it doesn't make it to TV so I'm surprised the disaster made it on TV.

Yes, it wasn't there best show. I am just wondering if the couple is still together!! They didn't look like they were such a happy couple!! Next week it is back to reruns...I like the new shows!!! Keep them coming guys!!

The high school gym teacher where I substitute got made over by the Fab 5. I have to tell you that he looks exactly the same to me except for a bit neater. Those that were at his house say THAT makeover was amazing. It airs sometime in May.


They filmed around the school on the last day and anyone who wanted to attend the unveiling had to sign a release.

Just love what these guys do.

I saw it too and thought the same thing. I figured it wasn't going to be so great when he was all upset about them tearing up his place in the beginning. Come on - why do you ask them to come if you can't take them tearing your place apart????

His girlfriend was definetely a high maintenance girl!!!!!

Yes, she was a little....I don't know...snooty? She didn't seem affectionate towards him at ALL! I haven't seen anyone like that on the show yet.

I agree with the Fab Five, I would have said that the dessert and dinner was "fine" instead of "eww...this is too hot" or "ewww...this is too sour". If someone took the time and the effort to do all of that for me, I'd be grateful! She sure wasn't!

I think the guy's name was James? His girlfriend's name was Tabi (or something like it). They were both Asian. She was very pretty, but a high maintenance nightmare of a girlfriend if you ask me.

She hated the food he made, except the sorbet, which she seemed to think was "OK". She hated the Thai massage (what woman snubs her nose at ANY massage?)

She wasn't happy with his clothes, except the belt.

And the dogs peed on the floor during their "romantic" evening.

A complete Queer Eye Meltdown.

I know. But he sure did change his tune when he saw that brand new TV.

I kept saying how ungrateful that girl was. I would be so happy that my DH would be taking such care in trying to impress me. She couldn't care less. When she fed her food to the dog, I was laughing. At least pretend that it tastes good! It couldn't have been that bad.

That is why he is my favorite. I get the feeling those quips of his are off-the-cuff and not scripted, and I like a quick wit like that

As far as the "meltdown" episode, the guy and girl were *both* "princesses." I didn't think they deserved the Fab 5's help.
